Entertainment Party Entertainers Casinos

Entertainment is not just confined to kids' parties – grown ups are getting in on the act and laying on all kinds of amusements for their guests too!

What's on Offer?

What do you want! You can hire just about any type of entertainer – so your only real limits will be budget and space – and your imagination!

Casino Nights

If you have the space at a formal adults party or ball you could host a casino night. Many entertainment agencies provide full casino packages, with all the popular games and professional croupiers. With fun casinos, real money is not involved, so generally, there are no restrictions or licenses to consider as it is simply themed entertainment.

Murder Mysteries

Murder mysteries are incredibly popular, and the evening is often organised around a dinner party. Ready made murder mystery party packs are easily available on the high street, but you can also book actors to host your 'murder. A professional murder mystery group will usually include a narrator or MC who will keep the evening running smoothly and provide the background information for the story and introduce all the characters.

Something Completely Different

To wow your guests with a totally different type of entertainer, you won't go far wrong with a caricaturist to capture them as they party. Or hire clairvoyants, palm or tarot card readers to visit tables telling fortunes between dinner courses.

Waiting Staff

Turn your waiting staff into the entertainment by hiring stilt walkers to mingle amongst your guests serving welcome drinks and canapés!

Look a Likes

Make your party the most talked about in town by inviting a host of A list celebs via a look-a-likes agency. Many look-a-likes are available for private functions, and if you are having a themed event such as a 007 night complete with casino, a Bond impersonator would add an amazing finishing touch. If hiring a professional isn't an option due to costs, encourage your guests to come in celebrity inspired fancy dress instead.

Keep the Children Entertained

If you will be having children at your party, keeping them amused is going to be of paramount importance! There's no need to go completely overboard with children's entertainment – it is usually the simplest things that keep them happiest! Face painters are always popular (with adults as well as children) and kids love the novelty of picking an image from the face-painters book and having the design re-created on their face.

Bouncy castles, if space permits, are also great fun and hugely appreciated by smaller guests. Old favourites like magicians and balloon modellers will always delight smaller children, and of course, a DJ with a good lighting system and cd-rack full of recognisable pop tunes will keep the kids happy on the dance floor for hours!

Utilise your Guests!

Don't be afraid of asking your guests to share their skills for your bash! If you have a magician or musician amongst your circle, ask them if they'll provide your party entertainment.

Hiring a live band needn't cost a fortune – enquire at your local college about student bands keen to play local gigs, or ask pub landlords who they book for music nights. Live music can really make a party, so it'll be a worthwhile outlay!
